Top 5 Upcoming Adventure Bikes in India (2025-26) .

TVS, Royal Enfield, Hero, and BMW are all getting ready to shake up the adventure bike market in India.

The Indian adventure motorcycle market is growing faster than ever. More and more people are interested in long-distance touring and off-road riding, so manufacturers are making more adventure bikes that are powerful and have a lot of features. The segment has never seen so much interest in FY25, and it is expected to keep growing in FY26 and beyond.

Here are five exciting new adventure bikes that will soon be available in India and around the world. They include TVS's long-awaited RTX 300, Royal Enfield's next-gen Himalayan, and Hero's more powerful Xpulse.

1. The TVS Apache RTX 300 is the first ADV from TVS and will come out in August 2025.

TVS Motor is entering the adventure tourer segment in India with its first-ever ADV – the Apache RTX 300, expected to launch in August 2025. This motorcycle, which a lot of people are looking forward to, was shown off at the 2025 Auto Expo and has been seen testing a few times since then.

The RTX 300 has a brand-new RT-XD4 299cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that makes 35 bhp and 28.5 Nm of torque. It has a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch.

It is advertised as an adventure bike, but it is more of a touring bike for the road, with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels and tires that are better for the road. The suspension isn't too harsh for off-roading, but it's definitely better than TVS's street bikes, so it's a great choice for touring on the highway.

Some important features are:

  • 5-inch TFT digital screen
  • Control of the cruise
  • Different ways to ride
  • ABS and traction control that can be turned on and off
  • Forks in USD
  • Ergonomics that are comfortable when standing up
It is thought that the Apache RTX 300 will compete with the KTM 250 Adventure and the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. It will be a good balance of price, performance, and comfort for long trips.

2. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 is bigger, stronger, and coming soon.

The Himalayan 750, which is currently being tested in Ladakh, will be a big step forward for Royal Enfield in the ADV world. This new model has two cylinders and is better than the Himalayan 450 that is already on the market.

The bike will have a 750cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine that is a modified version of the current 650cc motor. It will have more than 60 bhp and 60 Nm of torque.

Spy photos show serious adventure gear, such as:
  • Two-disc brakes in the front
  • Rims with wire spokes for rough ground
  • Forks with adjustable USDs
  • Updated, strong design
The Himalayan 750 will go up against the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE, the KTM 790 Adventure, and the new Triumph Tiger 660.

3. The BMW F 450 GS is a mid-weight global ADV that is made in India.

BMW Motorrad has announced that it wants to get a piece of the mid-size ADV market with the new F 450 GS, which was first shown as a concept at EICMA 2024.

The bike will come out in production form by the end of 2025. It will have a 450cc parallel-twin engine that makes 48 hp and weighs about 175 kg. This makes it great for both off-road and on-road riding.

Some of the most important features are:
  • 19" front wheel and 17" back wheel
  • Disc brakes on both ends
  • Tyre setup for two purposes
  • TVS makes this in India at Hosur.
This is BMW's big step into the high-end mid-range market in India and around the world. It should cost about the same as the BMW G 310 GS.

4. Hero Xpulse 421: A Powerful Upgrade for People Who Love ADV

Hero MotoCorp is getting the Xpulse 421 ready. It's an upgrade to the popular Xpulse 200 that has a bigger engine and is better for off-roading.

The Hero Xpulse 421 is likely to get:
  • A brand-new tough design
  • USD front fork
  • Suspension with a long travel
  • Two-in-one tires on spoke wheels
The Xpulse 421 is shaping up to be a real off-roader with Hero's low prices. It is going after the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the KTM 390 Adventure R.

5. The Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric: The Next Big Thing in Adventure Motorcycling

Royal Enfield is going electric, and they are testing an all-electric Himalayan that was recently seen in Ladakh. Details are still secret, but the prototype seems ready for production and could be released within the next 18 months, after the Flying Flea C6 and S6 EVs.

  • Wheels with spokes and off-road tires
  • Disc brakes in the front and back
  • An all-digital instrument console in the shape of a rectangle
Royal Enfield is making a bold move into the EV adventure market with the Himalayan Electric. This could open up new markets for eco-friendly long-distance riders.

TVS's plan for bigger growth:  Going global, bringing back Norton, and expanding EVs

Sudarshan Venu, Managing Director of TVS Motor, says that the company is putting a lot of money into new areas, such as adventure tourers and electric bikes, which are both set to launch in FY 2025–26.

TVS bought Norton Motorcycles, which is based in the UK, in 2020. By the summer of 2026, the company plans to release four new models in India, the UK, and Europe.

In FY25, TVS also had its best year ever for sales, with 4.74 million units sold. The brand is in a good position to grow internationally because it has a 20% market share in the EV two-wheeler segment thanks to the iQube and is exporting more to Africa, LATAM, and ASEAN markets.
